Subjects Taught
4th Grade

In 2002, I graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a Bachelors in Education.

In 2007, I completed a Masters of Education in Curriculum Development at SAGU.

I am certified in ESL and GT.

It has been my joy to spend all 15 years of my career in education at Red Oak Elementary.  My teaching experience consists of 5 years as a 2nd grade teacher, 4 years as a 3rd grade teacher, and 4 years as the Instructional Coach for ROE.  This will be my third year teaching 4th grade ELAR.  In addition, I will integrate Texas History with ELAR.  I am excited to teach all three subjects this year.

My name is Kelly Hartman. I was born and raised in South Louisiana so I am undeniably a N.O. Saints fan. I have been married for 25 years and I have three beautiful children. My oldest daughter is married, so our family includes a wonderful son-in-law.  Our family has been adopted by a long-haired dachshund named Lucy and a certified mutt named Hartlee.  My husband and I have been residents of Red Oak for 18 years. I enjoy reading, traveling with my family(especially to a beach), cooking with my husband, and movie/game nights with our kids.  We love being a part of our church family, The Oaks.
